The enemy is actively working to destroy our hope and joy- and you know he doesn’t fight fair. The thing is, though we are human, our war is not fought on human terms. Our power is God’s power, right? That’s what it means to walk by the Spirit, after all.
We all know it, so let’s act like it.
And by act, I mean think.
We have to-have to-have to start our fight in our brains, keeping our eyes on Jesus and aligning our thoughts with his teaching. Often, the fiercest battle is happening inside our own heads; it’s a good thing God doesn’t leave us defenseless.
“For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive, being ready to correct every disobedience when our obedience is complete.” 1 Cor 10:3-6

Father, you have the power to destroy all that Satan uses to attack us. I pray we would take every thought captive, destroying all disobedience by your power and love. I pray we would align our thoughts with your teaching, keeping our eyes on you, knowing that your loving gaze is always on us. #prayersformychildren
